Let’s get your disability claim moving again.

Being denied doesn’t close the door. Tell us where things stand and we’ll show you the right next step.

What happens after a denial

When Social Security turns down your claim, you have the right to a review, and CIVICO carries your case through every step we handle: reconsideration and your hearing before an Administrative Law Judge, the stage where a great many claims are won.

Level 1

Initial Application

Your first claim to Social Security. This is where most initial applications are denied, and where representation begins to matter.

Level 2

Reconsideration

An entirely fresh look at your claim, handled by someone who had no role in the original decision.

Level 3

Hearing

You make your case to an Administrative Law Judge, the point at which a great many claims are won.

Level 4

Decision

The judge issues a decision on your claim.

Why representation matters

These stages come down to evidence and deadlines. A representative keeps both on your side.

About 2 in 3

A denial is not a dead end

Roughly two-thirds of disability claims are denied, and a great many people who eventually win were denied at least once along the way. At this stage, the turning point is often stronger medical evidence and a case framed the way Social Security expects.

60 days

The clock starts at your denial

From the date on your denial notice, you usually get 60 days to respond. Let it lapse and you may be starting over. We watch every deadline so your response lands on time.
